Q. Why students prefer M.B.A after graduating from different streams like B.E, B.com, B.C.A , B.sc and others.

Ans. Technical field student prefer m.b.a. because they cover a management field and technical field both its result they can achieve target easily. Nowadays student prefer 6 figure salary so they can join management field.

A. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES - Graduates of an MBA programme have, due to their qualification, higher chances of obtaining and holding a high-level management position. This type of position brings along a higher salary but of course also a higher responsibility.

B. NEW SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE - MBA education is usually pursued in a very specific situation by a young professional with a few (2,3 or more) years of experience and sometimes even by senior employees that feel up for the challenge.I learn something new when what I know works just fine, its safer to stick to what I know best. Studying a Master of Business Administration forces you to get out of your comfort zone, deal with the latest issues, apply the newest management techniques and just constantly challenge yourself, your practices and your approaches.

C. Higher salary - The average salary for an MBA graduate is considerably higher than that of an employee with a regular master qualification. For MBA graduates the average salary ranges from Rs. 4800 (in governmental or non-profit Institutions) to Rs. 8200 (in consultancy, finance or healthcare). That is almost twice as much of what you can expect to earn with a regular University degree. In this case, in 2-3 years, you cover the investment made in your MBA education which is estimated to cost, for a 2 year MBA at a top business university, Rs. 7500 on average.

D. Better consolidated business network - As an MBA student, you have great networking opportunities. Through this type of study you get to know and interact in a relevant manner with colleagues, professors and teaching staff. Furthermore, if you are not doing a part-time MBA next to your job or within your company you have good chances to meet potential employers through the various internships that are part of most top MBA programme.

E. A holistic perspective on the business world - As mentioned before, through studying an MBA you become part of a great network of professionals and companies and you constantly challenge yourself with the newest problem-solving. These things together give you a great overview of the business world, a deep understanding and a certain receptiveness to the slight changes of this environment. This type of overview and sensitivity is very hard to achieve without spending a lot of time on it.

Rio Olypics 2016

The 2016 Summer Olympics concluded on 21 August 2016 at ceremony held at the Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil  witnessed more than 11000 athletes from 207 National Olympic Committees. A total of 117 athletes participated from India. India bagged a total of two medals, one silver and one bronze; both the medals won by women in their respective games.

Sakshi Mallik

Badminton player P V Sindhu won historic silver medal in women’s singles badminton event. With this, she became the first Indian woman to clinch a silver medal in Olympics. On the other hand, Wrestler Sakshi Malik secured a bronze in the 58 kg category to become India's first female wrestler to win an Olympic medal.

Not to forget, India was able to qualify one artistic gymnast into the Olympic competition for the first time since 1964. Dipa Karmakar became the first Indian female ever to book an Olympic spot in the apparatus events and all-around event at the Olympic Test Event. Unfortunately, she narrowly missed out in the bronze medal, finishing 4th in the finals of the event with a score of 15.066.


Moreover, Indian long distance runner Lalita Babar scored a time of 9:19.76 in her heat, qualifying to the final. With this, she became the first Indian in 32 years to enter a final in any track event. At the final, she finished 10th with a time of 9:22.74.


Despite the fact that these all sportswomen belonged from families with low income, still they managed to gather all their confidence and achieve what they aspire to be. This empowerment of women by encouraging them to participate in sports has opened up many new and exciting avenues for them in the world of sports.


The 2020 Summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo, Japan.
